MX vs ATV alive wont have SX until after launch

In MX vs ATV: Legends live the fantasy of becoming a world-famous, professional offroad rider and experience the glory of fame and the adulation of both fans and sponsors alike while playing the career and online modes.

    What a crock !!

The one reason most people buy the stinking game and your going to have to pay extra for it and it wont even be available until after the game comes out.

I could do without the sport trucks or the atv's honestly make that the add on stuff....Supercross and the outdoor nationals are the main draw....I knew it would be a bad thing when they started talking about the "low" price for the base game

Smart on their part though......hold out the one thing people will pay for....bet there wont be a big sticker on the box that says "Supercross not included" People are going to come unglued.

These company's are going to run this industry in the ground again like they did in the 80s if they keep releasing bug filled beta's and half finished games that try to squeeze more and more money out of our pockets through dlc.

You do realize why right? The devs have been hinting that the supercross mode will feature the 2011 season tracks. They have to wait until the season is over because they need to have the blueprints for the tracks. You can't re-create a track that hasn't been build yet bro. Unlike other sports, supercross tracks change every single race even at the same place. The AMA (or whoever they sold the rights to now) doesn't release the layout of the track months ahead of time, because riders would probably just make replicas to practice on. Use your head man.

Thanks for getting me up to speed on how motocross works...I've been watching since the 70's and have been to multiple live events so I know that the "tracks change"

You on the company payroll ? or own stock ?

The 2011 supercross track layouts have been posted on the supercross web site BRO for months.......guess you would know that if you would "use your head"

I knew the game was heading in this direction, however I didn't think they would leave SX out of the game completely at launch. Yeah the game will sell for $40.00 but after you buy the entire SX portion of the game as DLC, I'm betting it will bring the cost well above $60.00. This game just dropped off my "release day" purchase list. Shame, I love MX games.

Im with you....I was in hopes that I would get supercross and I could add monster trucks and all the other crap if I wanted it.

I'm interested to see if this holds true.

Regardless, this whole idea disappoints me. I was looking for more content in this game, as the last release was thin in that department. Instead they're taking out more and then charging for it.

I am so tired of being strapped with $60 games that are too short, non-returnable even when awful and that sometimes I just don't have the time to play for hours on end. I am all for small, cheap sampler games that would let me decide when and how much to expand it via DLC. It sounds like they have the small part correct but got the 'cheap' part all screwed up.
