Re: Where are the Nascar 2004 Reviews?

I am not sure if this is a separate game from Nascar 2004 or not but this is what was said about Nascar Thunder 2004. If this is about a different game like on the PC then my bad.

Game Now rated the game "A" saying that the racers remember how you treated them from race to race. For the PS2, they said that only 2 players can play online at once. The rest of the article didn't have much to say as their reviews are only a paragraph long at most.

            Ugh ... that's awful. What's the point?

I've been wondering the same thing. Which completely explains why there has been very little in the way of talk about Thunder. They were hyping 16 cars online at E3 and now they come out and say 2. PFffffffffffffffffffffffft What is the point of releasing online play for that? They couldve used the space for something a hell of a lot better then 2 player online play. Hopefully there are AI cars online. I cant fathom racing for how ever many laps around Talladega with only 2 cars on the track.

Yeah I agree if there are no AI cars on the track then what's the point of online play? Two player sports games are a different matter cause you get to control different players who control the ball or puck.

2 on 2 online play for a Nascar game is downright dumb.
