    Logitech Formula GP and PS2?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but is the Logitech Formula GP for the PC compatible with the PS2? Here is the wheel I'm talking about:

Discover the innovative world of Logitech United States and shop everything MX, Mechanical Keyboards, Wireless Mice, Webcams, Headsets, Software, and more

I just got Nascar Thunder 2004 a few days ago and it's great fun, but the dual shock is just killing the experience.

    Yes it will.

I use this one, so I'm sure the other model will work. The buttons are strange, since they're not labeled (and in no particular order, it seems), but it will perform just fine. At least L1/R1 are the paddles, so shifting is easy.

Cool, I hope the stores around here has them in stock. I'm really getting frustrated holding my line using analog sticks.

I really want to hold out though, for the GT4 wheel that's supposed to come one in November. Has there been any news about a delay, since GT4 has been delayed till January? That'll make my decision to get the Formula GP a bit easier.

Haven't heard anything about the delay on the wheel yet...

But for the price on that wheel, I probably wouldn't sweat it. I bought the "PS2" Driving Force or whatever (basically the same Logitech Wheel with PS2 buttons), but it was flimsier and crappier than their PC versions. I'd rather use the PC wheel on the PS2 than their console-friendly, lower-construction-quality models. They build those console wheels to be cheap and accessible for Joe Consumer, whereas most guys who are buying a PC wheel already spent some money on the computer to be able to play the game, and want a solid wheel on their desk.

I managed to get the wheel tonight, but it isn't working with my PS2. I've tried it with both Nascar Thunder 2004 and GT3, both not recognizing it. I have it connected to the top USB port. The wheel works fine on my PC though. Is there some kind of trick to getting it to work with the PS2? Or is it not compatible with the PS2? Man, I'm getting so frustrated trying to play NT2004.

No, I just plug my Momo in and it works...do you have your power adapter plugged in? Can't imagine they use different hardware in them...so different that one wouldn't work.
