While there are newer games I have owned, and mostly traded in, my favorite continues to be Formula One Championship Edition. I am interested in seeing how Codemasters' F1 2011 turns out.

I'll say Gran Turismo 5, but the Need for Speed Shift series is worth a try as well as Grid and the Dirt Series.

I wouldn't consider GT5 a good "Racing" game. The AI is terrible and it's much too easy to win races. It's great for online, but as a "racing game" it's really not that great.

F1 Championship Edition by MILES. It might be from '07 but it looks better than most games do now, and it plays very well. AI is great, graphics/physics/crash damage are nearly perfect.

If you are more of an f-1 fan i'd hold off until f1 2011 comes out. If you prefer a game with alot of different style cars to drive then something like gt5 would be a decent choice. If you want rally racing then id say dirt 3 is a pretty fun game to play. A fair amount of choices its more on what type of racing you want to do.

I agree, I love F1 Championship I think it's much better then F1 2010. I also enjoy GT5

GT5 Don't waste your time on anything else
