OSFC Chase pick format

I figured since there is a debate about how chase picks should be done this year why not just settle it with a vote.

Should the guys that have qualified for the chase get first picks first week resulting most likely in a closer points battle. Or should the pick format stay the same as it has all season?

For week 1 of the chase, the chasers pick 1st using reverse order of finish once the pts are reset and bonus is applied. After that, the picking order goes back to how it is normally. Winner picks last and so forth. That way we reward the guys for finishing in the chase for the first week but then it's back to business as usual

I feel that the chase guys should pick 1st every week. I feel it should be part of the reward for them making it. Let them battle it out for the cup.

If you let the Chase guys pick first then why not just let the ones who didn't make the Chase not pick at all?

What incentive would someone have that does not make the chase to keep going if you pick last every week.

They don't pull the cars that don't make the chase off the track or have the chase drives start in the front each week.

That's part of the challenge to have consistent finishes despite the obstacle of poor picking positions.

What fun is this if you pick out of the top eight to ten drivers each week.

What a dilemma do I take Jeff Gordon or do I take Jimmy Johnson and so on.

If we go that route with moving the "non chasers" to the back whether I make the chase or not this week I'm not sure that's something I want to be a part of.

Its only for 1 week as a reward for making it. Then it's back to business as usual. Since there is a reset of pts and reseeding, then we should have that same reseeding for 1 week.
