Need for Speed: The Run - Game Mode Impressions

As far as racers go, Need for Speed: The Run has a fairly lean selection of modes. The main mode, called “The Run,” is there to give you a focused single-player experience with some narrative elements that also has a small amount of replayability from its leaderboards and the different cars you can you use. Also present are a challenge mode that puts you on tracks from the main game, but with slightly tweaked goals, and an online mode with a reasonable selection of online playlists and unlockable rewards.

Agreed! With all the rave of Frostbite 2, I saw nothing but what seemed to be a "preview/demo" of the actual engine in action, I would have like to see more.

And even though this seems to take the series back to its racing roots, lack of customization and as you said "lean" functions, its a bit of a wasted opportunity. Don't get me wrong, I love the racing, its tight and as should be but who wouldn't have wanted more options like last year's HP? A bit of a waster chance..
