I don't LOVE the color change either, but I think the reason they do it is for the cop chases... if you listen to their radios, when you go through a gas station and they can still see you, they'll update their dispatch "We're still on his tail, but suspect is not in a blue porche 911"... something along those lines.

Re: Need for Speed: Most Wanted Impressions
I've been having a blast with Most Wanted. I popped it in this afternoon and didn't stop playing for over four hours. It definitely has a Burnout Paradise vibe to it, but still maintains its own personality. The map is much better than Paradise, so getting around isn't such a pain in the butt. I didn't bother playing the last NFS game, so I'm not really sure how this compares to it.
I spent a ton of time just driving around and collecting for the first couple of hours, so I just now got around to taking out the #10 most wanted car. Having to battle both your opponent and the cops trying to take you out definitely adds a lot of fun to the races. I kept trying to beat Panicshade's time on that stage, but dude must've been flying because I couldn't get it done.
I haven't got around to multiplayer yet, so I don't have any opinion on that. If I don't try it out later on tonight I'll give it a shot this weekend for sure. So far I'm very happy with the game though.Comment

Re: Need for Speed: Most Wanted Impressions
Any PC impressions? Watched the GiantBomb vid and they said the PC version should be a lot better than console but didn't have their hands on it yet. The Run didn't live up to expectations but if it's $20 in a couple of weeks like that was can't really go wrong.Comment

Got it thankfully they let me return it.
This is the type of game that if they put out a demo you'd be like"been there done that" and would of not even bothered to pick it up...
This game's saving grace is the way you get cars, but the city feels like a lifeless playground and graphically its NOT what its cracked up to beBrand New Tomba Slider sets ready for Next Gen Versions of NBA,Madden and Fifa Stay Tuned...Comment

Re: Need for Speed: Most Wanted Impressions
Ok so it might as well be called Burnout Paradise II.
Having said that, I am actually loving it!
The online is a lot of fun. Perhaps lacks a little narration and direction but if you like free roaming and racing/crashing into randoms, this game's for you.
Good fun!Comment

Re: Need for Speed: Most Wanted Impressions
This is the kind of thing that is keeping me from this game. I am sure it has its cool things but with so many appealing games out or about to drop I won't get this one yet. With Forza Horizon I feel I am getting my racing fix.Got it thankfully they let me return it.

Re: Need for Speed: Most Wanted Impressions
The Most Wanted races are like trial and error. I can't remember the car I used for that race but I know you can use any car you have unlocked for them. The way to get a good time is to try and memorize the layout of the race as you do it so you know where the sharp turns and such are at.I've been having a blast with Most Wanted. It is Burnout Paradise II just with the Need For Speed branding. Between this and Forza Horizon I am set with arcade racers for the forseeable future.
I would love to see them add expansions to this game based on the cities of Burnout Paradise and NFS: Hot Pursuit.PSN: PanicshadeLWK

Re: Need for Speed: Most Wanted Impressions
I love this game and have it on both PS3 and Vita. I like arcade racers much more than sim, so NFSMW is right up my alley. I love how you can drive in the city, mountains, and along the coast. I have never enjoyed closed circuit, real world tracks. Boring. I know many comparisons will be made between this and Forza Horizon. For me, NFSMW is the most fun because I like the environment more. Forza seems like the same scenery over and over. Trees.
Both are fun, though. I will play the crap out of them both and expect I will waiver back and forth between which I like best. For now, NFSMW is probably my favorite racing game of the past few years.Comment

Re: Need for Speed: Most Wanted Impressions
I'm really enjoying it. I love the challenge of the taking on the most wanted list. Having to compete with the opponent and the cops. Though it would have been nice if MW had a rewind feature so each time I crashed, I didn't have to restart the event (if I was very far behind). The 360 version has some frame rate stutters, but I've only noticed them a couple times in 2 1/2 hours of playing the game.
I own both Forza Horizon and NFS:MW and each one has positives and negatives.Comment

Yikes. Outside of multiple times with Goh, I don't think I've ever disagreed with someone more.Got it thankfully they let me return it.

As much as I love you Tomba, I don't agree with you as well. This is how I feel too. This game is awesome, and is by far one of the better racing games available.
