NASCAR The Game
PATCH UPDATES:

The latest Xbox patch has been passed by Activision Q/A and submitted to Microsoft. Once approved by them, we'll be given a date for deployment and will communicate that here. The PS3 patch is still going through Sony, when we have an update we'll let you know.

I really miss EA Sports NASCAR games, this game even worth buying? Ive heard it has a lot of problems... How is the Career mode/ Season mode? Im not much for online just because of the bad experiences online earlier- is it worth to play if I buy it?

Wondering the same thing... And which console it's better for.. With The Show coming out soon, and next gen coming out later this year, I may sell my 360 and just play PS3 for the rest of the year..

Ps3 patch cleared, 360 patch got rejected by microsoft, still have to wait.

Have they changed the ability to start a career with Gen 6 cars. Or are they sticking with just race now mode.

Honestly they need to make next years game fully customizable. Where you can change drivers, cars and teams.

This game is junk. Why? The AI is a toilet. Everything else about the game rules, but unfortunately the AI is what matters most.

Finally! I am a casual gamer so take this for what it is worth but just did my first race since the patch and I came in 1st (on easy level)! I definitely felt like I had better control of the car (using my controller) -- in the past, I would cause a wreck on every restart while this time I was able to hold steady through each restart. I'll have to see if if the wheel control is improved. I tried this game once pre-patch with my GT wheel and it was unplayable.

This game is not perfect and it should have never taken this long for the patch. Nevertheless, I definitely like this game better than NTG 2011 or EA's NASCAR 2009.

PS3 patch has been released. Haven't had a chance to try it yet though.

According to Dave on the game forums, they are still working on the 360 patch and will update when it has been submitted to Microsoft.

I haven't bothered to try the wheel yet (I have to move my PS3 to the basement to use it so it's a bit of a pain). Eventually I'll get around to it but I have been fairly happy with the controller (I could never play NTG 2011 with the controller). I'll let you know if I do.
