whats the most effective way to powerslide in pgr2???

I need help with my slding...I am new to racing games...should i pull the break and then the handbrake and release the gas...should i tap the gas and only use the handbrake...please let me know how u guys do it??? Thanks

If you have to do it, and it's a tight corner, then simply stabbing the handbrake and then pitching the car will work. If it's a sweeper, you can usually abruptly move the stick and stay on the gas to throw it into a lazy slide.

However, unless you're just trying to rack up Kudos for a cone challenge or something, it's useless. While people are trying to slide and get fancy behind me, I'm building up a 20 second lead. If you're sliding, you're losing speed. All I want to do is go fast.

I use the regular brake FAR more than the handbrake.

I only use the handbrake if I'm going into a hairpin.

The way I usually do it is brake a little then handbrake then gas through the turn. I don't like using the handbrake too much, it takes off speed.

I never use the hand brake and I don't try to get Kudos. I just drive as fast as possible and break a litte in the turns and the kudos just come.
