    A few Forza 5 questions

I have a few questions regarding Forza 5:

First of all, I have read that the career mode is structured as leagues each containing a number of championships, which leads me to a few of questions:

    1) Are the championships really championships? Meaning do you accumulate points in each race and have standings, etc. or is each race still a completely isolated event like it was in Forza 4?

2)I've seen a lot of mentions of 2 lap races. Is this the case in every league/championship? I don't need realistic race lengths but I like each race to at least last 15 minutes or so. This doesn't bother me if the lower leagues' races are shorter as I'm really only interested in the Racing league (prototypes, Indycars and V8 Supercars mainly)

3)Do all races have 16 car fields now?

4)Do you still start every race in the same position? I know there is no qualifying but it would be nice if there was a little variation in starting spots as opposed to Forza 4 which had you starting every 8-car race in 6th, 10 car-race in 7th and 12-car race in 8th.

Finally, is there still a way to set up custom single player races with a decent number of laps? Forza 4's free play races were so ridiculously short that you had to set up a private online room to be able to have a decent race and you lost the ability to pause during the race when you did that. Has this changed/improved at all?

    1) The championships have a varying amounts of events (usually 15 total, 7 of which are bonus unlocked after completing the standard 8). There is no points system, you have to grind through all of them to complete the series and unlock the bonus events.

    2) The race length varies by what series you are in, the faster cars in the more advanced series have longer laps and variants of the courses, I was running some races with the McLaren P1 (cover car) don't remember which series it is but the races were all 4 laps.

    3) All standard races do have 16 cars.

    4) I'm not exactly sure, you almost always seem to start 12 or so, which makes for the race being a little tougher and at times frustrating as the computer cars like to play demo derby in the first corner. (I normally concede the corner so I can try and pick them off one at a time so I don't destroy my car)
