Just beat CrazyMallards record time, new time is now 1:21.629. It's coming down to the wire about 2 hours left on the challenge. Best of luck guys.

Congrats CrazyMallard on the top time well deserved victory. It was a battle that's for sure. I tried with 15 min left but just couldn't beat it. Look forward to future challenges.

Congrats to you too Stormyhog, that was a lot more difficult than I had expected. Lots of fun, too.

Re: DRIVECLUB Weekly OS Challenge Thread

I've been on OS for quite a while, just don't post much, but it dawned on me that after picking up this game, actually hopping into the racing forum might not be a bad idea. Mostly a single player kind of guy, but I'd like to try to unlock some of the stuff that requires club levels.

Plus I like the whole sound of all challenges are time trials. I range from sucky to decent depending on the day, but I'm not good enough to not annoy some people by bumping into them during an online match. Not in this game anyway, (but I do like the old school difficulty).

Anyway, are these open challenges or I assume you have to be part of a particular club? Can anyone recommend one to join? For any "online" type of things, I usually stick with OS groups as I've had better overall experiences with that as opposed to something completely random.

There are numerous clubs that guys are on. I wish we could all be on the same club but it is limited to just 5 people. My club is currently filled.

Challenges are open to anyone. Some may not be available due to your overall level. All courses and cars are picked randomly. Add me over PSN and I will send you an invite to the next challenge which will be posted within 24 hours.

Congrats to CrazyMallard for a great run this week.

Re: DRIVECLUB Weekly OS Challenge Thread

Man, this week's challenge is tricky and fun.

It's hard as **** to see with the rain and it being night time.

I took a shot at it and finished 3:48.342.

I'm not sure I'll do well enough to win out. I bitched out in a few curves, not knowing how the car would handle the sliding, but the A1 handles pretty well.

Actually tried it three times, here's the best pass. I almost **** a brick at the :43 mark.. lol.

                      <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/9VZQE_VI3Ns" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I'm sure someone will pass me up, I won't get another free night for the rest of the week.

I tried once so far, think it wound up 3:55, give or take. Had one section with lights that looked like the road was going one way, but I apparently should have zigged when I zagged. Ugly.

I tried it 6 or 7 times but I am not the best at night driving.
