Fingers crossed that there's some type of in-depth career mode where you can start from the very bottom of the NASCAR level and work your way up.

Have you ever wanted to coach or play basketball at the next level, but something prevented you from achieving that dream? Fret no more. Ask me about SimWorld Hoops to see how you can create your virtual self, and follow your path from the prep-level to the pros.

Fingers crossed that if you bump draft someone online you don't go backward. Lol

Great news! As long as it's not the disaster that was the NTG series. Hopefully they dont just copy and paste from what they had at Eutechnyx...

Hopefully this is a next gen deal too.

Yeah, the one thing I loved about EA's racing games was the Fight to the Top mode in its various iterations.

I would love for someone to re-create the old Dirt to Daytona game. And then make it very in-depth and robust.

                Loved that game.

If this company could release their nascar games in Australia, that would be great..

Not excited. They don't have any gaming experience unless you go back to 2000 with Nascar Heat on the Playstation.

                      Thanks for the update.

It would be good to have a NASCAR sim for the PS4.

I still keep fingers crossed that we would be able one day to have the ability to have user created paint show up on the AI cars like we have on the PC for about 15 years now.

I would just love to see in my lifetime a console game with beer logo's on the cars. (I know it wont happen)

We can have nudity, kill everything that moves, steal cars, rob banks, etc in video games however no legal beverage logo's allowed to protect the "children".

This has never made sense to me.

My kids could watch Nascar on live TV but couldnt be subjected to that same car on the same TV when it's a video game...All I did was switch an input...lol

I don't think that's accurate. If I remember correctly, Ed Martin was working on the NTG series with Eutechnyx. Also, If I recall... he worked on the Papyrus series too, or maybe I'm thinking of someone else?

Either way, the part the scares me, is they acquired the assets from NTG series. To me, that's scary. Sure the foundation was there, but there were major flaws with the AI and online, and several other issues. By "acquiring assets", I'm sure that means the coding and the already in place foundation of the game itself. If so, I hope alot of re-coding goes on there.

Just have to wait for more info.

Yeah but when NTG was first announced didn't they say they had acquired assets of The NASCAR Racing series by Papyrus?

Yeah but those assets as far a code and stuff were almost 10 years old at the time and vastly outdated compared to current programming and stuff. And the only NASCAR game Papyrus ever made for consoles (at least the only 1 I know of) was made for the original PlayStation around 1997 so everything would've most likely had to be largely redone anyway.

I think they should start there. A first game to have 5 different series, with 5 different types of cars raced on various different surfaces is just asking for a mess. I like sim gaming, and should probably just give in and try iracing, but to get a decent game, you got to start small. I'd rather have one series modeled well with some realism than to have 5 different series available, but no telling what kind of result you may get.
