Re: NASCAR Chase for the Cup 2005 (XBox) Q & A

If I took the time to go through each driver and list the number of paint schemes they have, you think I'd totally leave somebody out?

The driver list goes from 18 to 20, sorry.

TC, thanks for answering these questions. For the paint schemes that you listed, are those all of the paint schemes or just the default ones?

The default is usually 1 and a test car (where available). I unlocked all the paint scheme thunder plates, so those are all of them (unless there's hidden ones that show up later).

And I checked for Pocono, it is indeed MIA as well.

Strange, you would think with an exclusive license EA could manage all of the drivers and tracks. But then again, if a track isn't owned by ISC, they likely have their own licensing agreements. I won't miss Pocono much myself, although it is a little annoying that you can't race at every track the Cup series does.

Which leads me to another question, can you drive the modifieds and trucks at any of the tracks in the game? For example, is it possible to race modifieds at Daytona and Cup cars at modified tracks?

I just dont understand how Mayfield and Pocono are MIA after being in the previous versions. I wonder how the rights for those 2 entities work. Oh well, hopefully I will like it, if not it goes back to the store in a week.

Rumor I heard, is that Mayfield was going to be the coverboy, but had a falling out with EA. Granted, this is a rumor. As for Pocono, it supposedly was strictly a licensing issue, (also a rumor).

I heard of a "Custom" difficulty mode. What are the options for that?
