    Framerate question

Does the PS2 version have major slowdown issues as well? EA sports titles tend to run better on PS2 systems. I have both and the difference with NCAA football is staggering this year.

    Thank you.

I have the ps2 version of Nascar 2005, and have noticed very little slowdown, and it's pretty rare. Of course the graphics are pretty ugly, but I'd rather that than have slowdown.

Pretty funny to see people comaplian about something that isnt there. I have Xbox version and I have yet to see one hiccup yet.

The graphics dont seem that bad to me.
There is no place like Nebraska
            Dear old Nebraska U.
Where the girls are the fairest,
            The boys are the squarest,
Of any old school that I knew.

I've noticed minor slowdown (IMO) here and there, but nothing as severe as what has been described in this forum. I suspect that I not as sensitive to it because I played so much NT2004, which is on par with 2005 graphically IMO.

I haven't raced all of the tracks yet, so perhaps I will come across it at some point, or my eyes are just tuned to ignore it.

Regardless, I'm enjoying this version of EA's Nascar game more than any other, online is lots o' fun too.

If you think there's no hiccups in the XBox version, I don't know what to tell you. Like I mentioned in other places, it's only at certain tracks. If you start a Fight to the Top on the XBox and race the first Featherlite Race and don't see any framerate loss, then you're one of the lucky few who can't tell the difference between 10 frames a second and 60 frames a second.

I couldnt agree with you more,im in my 2nd year now,on the fight to the top mode on xbox, and i have seen no problem with slowdown, very minimal at best,so i hope no one makes the mistake on not buying this game based on a major frame rate problem, because its simply not there, imo.Without a doubt its ea sports best effort to date, and is a blast to play.By the way i got my first truck ride at the 4th race of the second season.

The place I have the most framerate problems is at Milwaukee. Other tracks are fine, with an occasional stutter.
