Just looking to see if anyone knows how to fix this. I have a wheel for Project Cars that I use, but my headset is a wired headset that needs to be plugged in to a controller to work. I haven't been able to figure out how to do the PS4 and Project Cars settings to get both to work at the same time, where I can use the wheel for controls but use the controller + headset for the in-game chat. I tried going in to the game with only the wheel connected, then starting up my controller, but it seems like the controller overrides the wheel every time. And when I have them both connected, it lets me control the in-game menus with the d-pad on the wheel, but when it goes in to a race, I can only control the car with the controller. I'm sure someone else has run in to the problem, so I'm hoping someone knows what to change to get it to work.

Don't know how to fix that, sorry. I just use the PS4 Gold headset and it works fine out of the box. I don't think you can do what you're trying to do, unlikely on XBox One...where you can just plug in another controller and chat on it.
PS4 handles its device assignment and adjustment a little funkier, so I'm not sure. But I never had a problem with the Gold headset.
