Forza Motorsport 6 Demo Available Now, Launch Trailer Released

One of the best Demos ever released. Quality comes as standard with the Forza series but despite the high expectations this game never fails to amaze. If you were impressed with how good the wet weather racing looked in Driveclub than be prepared to be more so here.
The great thing with the game is that it appeals to all. Switch all Assists on if you want a fun arcade experience but switch them off & be prepared for a Simulation style more akin to Project Cars. All this with a Car List that's more comprehensive than it's Console based rivals put together.

This was an amazing demo...only issue I had was the rain race, I couldn't select the cockpit view..I can not play outside the car and lost each time..

I only had time last night to run the first little drive in Rio, then the first qualifying race, but man... it's beautiful. Just beautiful. Hoping to get to spend more time with it tonight.

I know I said I was going to hold off buying it... but I'm not sure anymore.

Indeed, the demo is one of the best ever. The game is incredibly fun, very responsive and easy to really get into. The graphics are amazing. I don't know what it is, but it is really a very fun game.

Must own...but going back to horizon 2 is very favourable as well. Horizon 2 is just as good even if its already a
year old

This was an amazing demo...only issue I had was the rain race, I couldn't select the cockpit view..I can not play outside the car and lost each time..

I figured out that certain Mods (like the bonus for bumping a car from behind) will LOCK IN the outside view. If you by chance have it enabled it will disable the cockpit view.

Demo was fun and convinced someone who absolutely sucks at simulation racing games to give this game a purchase. Should be able to get the game at half price too with my gamers club rewards and rebates finally kicking in.

Loved the demo. The Indycar challenge was really cool. The night race was cool, the rain race was cool, but a pain! Those puddles are dangerous!

I had a weird issue with the AI in the rain race though. I managed my way through the field fairly easily, but the leader was running laps about a second faster than the whole field, myself included. So there was the leader about 2 seconds ahead of me, then myself ahead of 2nd place and the rest of the field by about a second or more. It was really strange to see. I've never seen that in a Forza game. I was gaining on 3rd place but the leader was still gaining on me, it was like the leader was a completely different AI class than the rest of the field.

Yeah the rain puddles were crazy nice...the fact that they pulled the weight of the vehicles was a first I've ever encountered in a game...I've had slippery roads, but puddles actually effecting the speeds and pulling you was spot on realism.

loved the demo... I was completely set on not buying this until the winter but now I'm conflicted... think I might bench FIFA 16 and start Forza 6.

the Indy car challenge was intense, I had to restart it and put on 2 assists as it felt like I was playing the game in fast forward. wow.

what was funny and I posted this thought else where, when I knew there would be a wet racing experience I said to myself "please don't make it Sebring in the rain"... I'm terrible at Sebring dry, I've never raced well at Sebring. wet racing at Sebring, I'm worse. finished 3rd and that was basically due to attrition. hydroplaning feels right. it doesn't just feel like slippage, it feels like your wheels drag with weight into the puddle and then you feel that moment when you begin actually hydroplaning.

still love the Drivatars, makes the game feel alive. watched a buddies drivatar hydroplane, get sideways and basically take himself out of the race and it looked legit.

Why does the demo keep "restarting" for me? I just finished 2nd in the rain (the third race of the challenge series) and then it went back to the initial start ... I have to watch the video with the two kids running again! And it "forgets" which races I have already won ... it makes me do the Brazil race with the Ford (again!). I cannot get "deep" into the demo if I have to keep doing the same early races over and over again.

This is the third time that the demo has "re-set" on me.

Is there anything I can do to stop this?

If I remember correctly, that's the last race in the demo. Your only option at that point is to restart it...
