I asked this question to a guy on twitter that has the game & he said it's only night racing. I played the beta when it was out & that's all I ever saw. I really wish it had a day to night cycle myself.

I now have about 10 hours into the full retail game, and I will say that once you get further into the game and mod your car enough - the handling really does get much better. Initially you and your car suffer from low grade equipment, but many of the issues I had early on have since been negated by upgrades and understanding of the mechanics.
Once I turned "Drift stability control" off, drifting felt much better and similar to what I am used to with other need for speed games.
I still have more time on my trial and will continue to play the game. At the end of the trial I will see how I feel about the game then and determine whether or not I should still buy it. Right now I'm leaning towards yes but time will tell.
I also wanted to know from those on the ps4 with the game whether or not they experienced any framerate skippinng and stuttering while driving around.PSN: ckarlic

I ran a race earlier that was so lovely for drifts. I got like 3 "perfect moments" in the run and had some really long drifts around corners. Playing Driveclub has turned me into a drift addict. I've tuned every car I've bought for that type of setup.
