Its pretty amazing to me how this game is flying under the radar in the sports sim community. And plus for a first generation PC title it is very well done, when real world mods are finally available it will be even better.

Re: Motorsport Manager Coming to PC, Mac & Linux in September
I am hoping they do none of that. I love this game just they way it is. Though I would love some more tracks or maybe a track editor. In Loving memory of my "Cricket" 1/2/96 - 11/19/2012

I will say now, that I started with Predator Racing all the way at the bottom. Really have to work this game to build a team up from absolutely nothing. I still have not won a race and have only stood on the podium once or twice, mostly thru blind luck. Going into the next season, I really hope to start making an impact. In Loving memory of my "Cricket" 1/2/96 - 11/19/2012

Not sure how much longer I can resist!
I have a personal development presentation I have to do for work...once I get that done I think it's time to treat myself...even if I don't get the promotion [emoji851]

Re: Motorsport Manager Coming to PC, Mac & Linux in September
I've had two race wins so far one for each driver, the second of which was actually a 1-2 finish which was nice. The 1-2 was helped by a perfectly time safety car allowed me to benefit the most with an essentially free pit-stop. The one Italian Octane driver is getting old and I look forward to replacing him and his mechanic with a possible pay driver and save some money, just need to wrap up the last couple races of the first season.Comment

I think this review is on the low side and a little misleading. I don't find the racing repetitive in the least bit, sure the core mechanics of the racing itself are always the the same but the outcomes are always different. In dozens of races so far Ive finished anywhere from 1st to 20th,sometimes crashing,or having a mechanical failure,to running out of fuel. Ive found the racing itself to be very unpredictable and very strategic and just plain fun.
For a first gen PC sports sim title, its done very well. And once steam workshop becomes available real world mods will be available to make the game even better.Comment

Re: Motorsport Manager Coming to PC, Mac & Linux in September
Someone actually made a Moto gp mod for this. If anyone here is still playing this it's worth a look.EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment
