I dont know if I'm excited for this( I love Rally). Last year i got all three versions HOPING the framerate and screen tearing were better on each platform i went on. And it was not.

VERY poor optimization in WRC 5. I wonder if they've learned from that and if they havent others should not buy WRC 6

WRC 5 sold something like 700,000 copies thanks to its esports inclusion.

I got 3 copies wishing just ONE would play smoothly...and none did.

One can only hope it finally will play smooth on at least ONE platfrom this year...

I like WRC 5 and had a good bit of fun with it.

I'm assuming this is out on the UK store on the 7th or is it worldwide ?

But i dont know HOW you could play it the framerate and screen teearing were horrible

"On PS4 and Xbox One, there was a drop in fidelity as you would expect, but the graphics still looked defined in the lower resolution and the frame rate seemed smooth on the stages I played, but Jarniou confirmed that the console versions run at a variable frame rate between 30fps and 60fps as with WRC 5. A locked frame rate would probably have been more ideal, particularly as WRC 5 suffered from noticeable slowdown on some stages."

I love 4 , hated 5 , I'll have to reinstall it and give it another chance.

4 WAS good esp on pc with mods

Went ahead and picked up WRC 6 for PC thru Steam (34.99)

If you play in 1080p with full settings it runs much better than last years version.

If you start going 1440p or even true 4k you can have dips in framerates


overall its a smooth experience

One of the things that VERY apparent is physics engine and the road driving particle efx. Those are put together very well.

Driving is very satisfying actually.

Cars are VERY well designed and a cool feature is that you can SEE the tires struggling on terrains.

Compared to last years its not night and day but more like a very well patched WRC 5. Because WRC was good just not at all well optimized. It might have something to do with the fact that wrc 6 was only made for Xbox 1 ,PS4 and PC...

For those who feel that Dirt rally is just too darn hard.... 7/10

Not released in North America yet for PS4. Not official date determined that I can find...."coming soon"

I will need to go UK store if I decide to pull the trigger or ebay.

yeah i haven't seen it either.

I'll say this... playing in 1080p with full settings on pc, id imagine that how the console versions would be and to be honest its a pretty solid title.

I play in 4k but it has MANY efx off to get it at a good framerate simialr to dirt rally etc.

Played a lot more the other night


Driving in this game is just fun

Ran a few stages today.

The game is nice. Improved over last year for sure and I liked that game a fair amount.

It's a good time throwing a rally car around a course.

this game is much more forgiving than Dirt rally and its handling reminds me of a handling mod made for wrc 4 by some team that completely redid its physics and particles on pc.

WRC 6 is good. much better than wrc 5. more playable than dirt rally.

Sebatian Loeb rally Evo is still my favorite but that game is a very hard one. I think i just prefer the way they do their visuals more.

Yeah I agree it's much better than 5 and I also enjoy it more than dirt rally.

I tried the demo of the Loeb game....I will assume the full game was better...I wasn't blown away by the demo and didn't end up buying it.

Can't find this in the Xbox live store. All that comes up when I search WRC is 5. Does anyone know if/when it might become available on XBL?
