What exactly are the differences in the versions of Need For Speed HP 2?

I bought the Xbox version, but everyone keeps telling me that the PS2 version is the one to have. For the record, I am more than happy with my Xbox version, but if the PS2 version is so much better, I wish someone would explain. I keep hearing about slowdown in the Xbox version, but I have seen none, at least that I noticed. Sense of speed keeps popping up as something the PS2 version has over the Xbox version, but again, I can't comment. The Xbox version really does seem fine to me, but as the owner of all 3 consoles, I definitely want the best version of each and every game I buy. I wish someone could explain these differences in a little more detail because simply saying the PS2 version is better is not good enough, it sounds too much like fanboy talk.
No, I didn't draft Grossman on my fantasy team, what do you think I am an idiot?

It is the sense of speed as far as I know. I have the PS2 version and have played the Xbox version and I totally noticed that the PS2 version seemed much faster than the Xbox version using cars that got up to 120-125 mph.

Are you sure about that bdt92? I'm planning on picking up Need for Speed for the Xbox.
