    Nascar Heat 3, setup questions

So I know you can assign your mechanics to ready your chassis week to week....but

How do I get to a race with the setup I want/find?

I go through several laps of practice, making several pit stops to tune my car...then qualify, and I verify that my car is using the same setup I created in practice....however when I get to the race, the first stage my car resorts back to the default setting....I then either have to race til theres a yellow or the stage ends before I can get 'my' settings on the car.

    Am I missing something?

You have to turn on simulation handling by turning off the stability control in the options

So because I have the 'stability' setting 'on', I'm not allowed to carry a setting from qualify/practice to the actual race?

That seems like the stupidest link of a setting ever. I dont like having the Stability setting on, as even with a wheel, I just can't 'feel' the weight of the car like a real vehicle would provide the feedback for.

        Correct.

Only way to use custom setups is to have it on simulation.

The game lacks customization options when it comes to the style of game you want to play. It's their way only.

Stability, auto braking, racing line, traction control. Basic settings in every racing game out there basically are missing in the 3rd entry of this series. Not a good look. Not sure why you can't use custom setups with stability on, but... not alot these guys do with the options for the racing model in this series make much sense.

Fun to play, no doubt there, but it leaves alot to be desired all over the place.
