    Nascar SimRacing Demo

Looks like EA has released a demo for it's upcoming Nascar Sim Racer. You can download it from Gamespot (and probably several other places):

GameSpot is the world's largest source for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PS Vita, Wii PC, 3DS, PSP, DS, video game news, reviews, previews, trailers, walkthroughs, and more.

If anyone here has a chance to check it, post some impressions here please.

    Thanks.

I was impressed with it, considering EA's other PC efforts. The at-speed steering is a bit twitchy, but I'm sure they have the typical "speed sensitivity" slider in there somewhere that I need to mess with. The AI was pretty good, fighting me at every turn. You can only have 10 cars in the demo, and only Indy and Kansas. The cockpit cam is a framerate dog for me, probably because of the hands on the steering wheel.

I haven't spent enough time to really talk about it, but after a few laps I know I spun out a few times (and could feel it coming, unlike other EA PC games), made some good laps, and bumped with the AI for a few laps at the Brickyard.

It made me want to get the full version, for what it's worth.

Installed it.. it looks to be based off the EA F1 engine from ISI, based on the initial "analyzer" screen that came up.

Gotta get wheel out to try it (just moved.)

How are the accidents/damage in this game, because in previous EA versions the accident have been graphically well below average. What im sayimg is do they actually happen, instead of a car gets sideways and then automatically seems to magically get straight.

I tried to create a major wreck, and did. I did an "elliot sadler" acress the infield. But unless you try to creat on, it is tough.

Do you suggest a steering wheel conroller. This was my FIRST PC game ever. Well, since IIE's Oregon Trail. I am dead serious. I don't know much about PC gaming, but I love NASCAR so I loaded the demo.
