I'm confused, I just bought the game on the Series X on sale. Now after an update the game Icon has an X/S on it and it , has it updated early or am I nuts? Oh , this is a great game by the way. It's good with a controller also.

Just a heads up for any interested, it's on sale for $15 for Xbox Live members. I bought it just for the Series X/S update coming in February. It says it's X/S optimized, so kinda weird.

I think it's just optimized for Series X/S. Think the update coming in February is a legit next gen update.

I think the current version partially benefits from current Series X/S advantages. I saw a You Tube video that showed the XBox One and Series X running the game, side by side. It looked like it was running at 45 to 50 FPS on the Series X, on average. I couldn't see a whole lot in the way of graphical enhancement between the two.

It's nice to read that the full, 4K/60 FPS enhancement coming in February will be free to current owners. I'm really looking forward to it as it's my favorite racing game right now on the Series X. I think those extra 10 to 15 FPS with a full 4K res will be a great step forward for both the looks and the feel of the game. It's working great with my Thrustmaster TX racing wheel. I don't know how they could improve much on the force feedback effects, but there's probably some room for improvement there.
