Aww yeah. Hopefully the gameplay is as good as the last one and I can beat the game in one sitting before the trial period ends, lol.

Anyone know if the game has everything on disc for offline or is server dependent like GT7 is going to be??

I'm downloading now. Got to the "ready to start" point and fired it up. Two races were available. Trophy Trucks and Porsche's. Ran them both. Graphics are crisp and clean , game ran smooth as butter. The handling seems much improved over the last GRID game. Felt like better grip when in the turns. Car is very responsive to the controller.

Waiting for the full download to finish and I'll do the rest of my 10 hours. I wasn't planning on buying this game right away ,but just from those two races I want more. Hopefully it will keep me entertained throughout.....

I have Game Pass ultimate. I thought that included EA Play, but apparently it doesn't. When I click on EA Play I get a message saying it's not available on this console.

So far I have played about an hour of the full game and I am really impressed with the controller handling. I turned all the assists off and the handling felt even better with the assists off. I still do auto shift because my old brain can't process shifting and passing, actually it never has, but at 50 I got more of an excuse now.

The racing is great, I went up to the 2nd to highest difficulty where the AI makes mistakes. The damage model so far hasn't been extreme and I am an aggressive racer. I don't use the rewind feature. I like the points buildup, reminds me more so of Project Gotham? was that what that old Xbox racer was called? Versus the points system of per say Forza. While I am learning the tracks I still have the racing line on.

I am really liking this so far, not as difficult as the regular Forza, but more realistic than I think the last GRID.

I will end out purchasing later this week when it officially releases and have available in my library. I am playing PS5 for an FYI.

Is anyone here an EA Pro Play member? We are supposed to have the ability to play the Deluxe version on 2/21 but when I try to play today it says "INVALID LICENSE" and my only option is to click OK. So much for early access I guess.

I did try and uninstall, reboot and reinstall but to no avail.

The "Trial" is definitely not the full version. I am getting locked out after completing certain event tabs and told to buy the deluxe version. So if you think you can complete this in the 10 hours, it will not be possible.

Yeah on XSX it only let me do the prologue, then as you said, told me to buy the deluxe version. So I guess I can't play anymore until I get the actual game.

I'm on the XSX and I've been progressing through the career mode ok. I have been side tracked but the Assetto Corsa update ,but I'll be diving back in to the Grid trial today , I've got 6 hours left. I'll let you know if I hit any road blocks , so far I haven't been locked out of anything.

Are you guys sure it wasn't still downloading? I thought this too but then realized it downloaded enough to play the game with the two trial type things. It was still downloading the rest of the game. Once it downloaded all modes like career etc. were there.

I got locked out of story after a certain amount of progression for that mode. I’m trying out the career mode now
