    What are you driving? (GT4)

This thread is meant to be a discussion of what cars you have/want in GT4. If you think the game sucks go somewhere else.

    I've got a '63 Stingray, a '05 Mustang GT, a '01 VW Golf, a '04 Honda Integra and a '70 Plymouth Superbird.

The Mustang is a total beast, I have it up to 650 HP!

The Golf is COMPLETELY maxed out as well, over $200,000 in that thing

My favorite to drive is probably the Stingray.

I'm looking for a cheap FR tonight. Any suggestions?

What do you guys drive/how do you like them?

I am currently driving a modded '92 Mitsubishi Lancer, but I just won a '96 Nismo Skyline with nearly 400 HP stock. I might have to try that out.

Other cars in my garage are some weird racing prototype (you win it at the 4WD Cup in Beginner League) and the Autobianchi A112.

My favorite car isn't yet in my garage: the '03 Viper SRT-10. I'll have that shortly though.

For a (relatively) cheap (and decent) FR car, try the Mazda RX7. If I remember correctly from GT3, it is pretty decent from the get-go and is very upgradable.

All I have is the concept Sunfire you get for the A license. I sold my other two cars to add some options to it. You guys doing any tricks to get a lot of money or just playing a ton of hours? I didn't have a GT3 import and have been racing on the default difficulty.

Here's what I've done (sorry beforehand for the length):

With my initial 10,000 credits, I bought a '92 Lancer in the used car lot and souped it up just a little. I then won the Sunday Cup, which won me the prize car in there, the Autobianchi A112. I souped this guy up a little, upgrading it to about 110 HP. Then I took that car (the Autobianchi) to the Lightweight race in beginner league, which wins a prize car which can be sold for 10,000 credits. I did this series a couple times and sold the prize car I won each time until I could soup up my Lancer (to about 350-375 HP) to win one of the series in the Japanese category (I don't remember which one, but it wasn't the one with 5 consecutive races), which won me a NISMO Skyline which I could sell for 25,000 credits (and has 400 HP stock).

Having done all this, I have set myself up rather nicely for the beginning 5% of the game. It does take a while, though, but it works.

Under "Special Events" the 2nd one is called "Costa di Amalfi".

It's two races, if you win them both you get $5k per race and a car worth $265,000. You can win this race with any decent care above 250 HP. I just do this whenever I want money, counting some prize cars I now have like 13 cars. Yes, I know this is cheesy.
