I don't know if I'm entirely sold on all the extracurriculars. But with three Grands Prix in the US, and several American drivers between F1 and F2, the prospect of running an all-American My Team is so tantalizing they might just be gilding the lily.

Did an all-American My Team a few years ago with Correa, but after what happened at Spa, it just got kind of, ehhh...

Good to see JMC back on the grid after all that, though.

But Vegas is going to get COLD. Late night start, autumn, desert...it might get down into the mid-40's (or the single digits, for those of you on the metric system) before the checkered flag waves.

Proof of the pudding will be how the street circuits look on next-gen in 4K.

One to watch, but I'll definitely hold off for reviews.

I participated in closed beta, it was A-MA-ZING !

I spent about 8 hours in it on the weekend and drove on 5 different circuits out of 6.

I'd have loved to share SS and videos but it's not permitted.

Graphically they took it up a notch (playing on xbox series x).

I can't believe how great the default settings for car set-ups was. You literally didn't need to adjust anything, the car builds were excellent for each track already.

Much easier to drive, much easier to take on difficult corners, cars glide like a snake without drifting out as much as they used to in f1 22 and 21.

I played on hard difficulty - 66 in slider like i did in the past.

Another thing i noticed is that they made the tyre wear closer to the real life F1. They wear out much quicker, you can't weasel your S+M way out of some racers without using Hard tyres like in the past.

They are bringing so much extra content so it'll be 150 hours+ ride for me again when it's released in June.

I've never played the game. What are the difficulty levels and what is -66 slider?

33 is the default - easy. I think 90 is the hardest. 66 is considered HArd

            The hardest is actually 110.

I'm a novice who would like to actually put some time into an F1 game. I've got F1 21 for the PS5. Is 23 worth getting or am I better off just sticking with 21?

                The game isn’t out yet.

                  I know.

I guess what I'm basically asking is does the series improve enough year over year to be worth upgrading after two years?

                    Hey LW!

I buy this game every year, though in recent months I went back to F12020 because it drives a bit better than F122 does IMO (and others as well).

However the value proposition looks pretty good for F123, as I'm happy to do more Braking Point story mode, and the handling upgrade for the cars (traction!) this year from all reports I've seen on you tube is looking really good. I'm in! Plus of course you get Vegas and a few other of the tracks have been updated a bit (like Barcelona), and you have Qatar in there too.

I'm cautiously optimistic. The driving model judging by the content creator's videos I have seen is a big step up. I'm in again this year as long as they can avoid the crippling bugs at launch.

21 is fine if you're a complete novice to F1 and don't care about updated grids or tracks. 23 will feature the Las Vegas and Qatar tracks, new for this year, but 21 is more then playable to get your feet wet in trying to run an F1 career. 22 had significant issues with the physics and the AI, but 21, as I remember, played a great game of F1

Has anyone heard whether this one will have the EA Anti Cheat on PC that FIFA did? I'm looking forward to it, but given the amount of problems I had with their Anti Cheat for Fifa 23 on PC, I'll pass if this has it, and I've bought everyone back to F1 2010
