Man I really want to get into one of these motorcycle sims but they are just so damn difficult. Never felt like they really translated to controller that well at all... Maybe I'll pick this up on a sale sometime and give it another shot

I hear you and I can tell you that Ride 5 is geared toward people like yourself who want to be able to ride and not spend a lot of time learning it.

It has not only 5 skill levels and various aids that you might expect but also a rewind button finally!

Here's my story, I bought Ride 4 one night when I had a bit of extra cash on PS5. After struggling for a brief amount of time I started to try to get a refund as it was too freakin' hard. I couldn't even make it around the track, let alone race.

Of course Sony wouldn't give me any refund and so the game sit unplayed.

Then one night I decided by goodness I was going to learn how to play that game. Flash forward about 20 hours later and I was able to ride finally and not crash. Go forward about another 10 hours and I was competitive.

After that I was able to enjoy the game using some of the rookie aids. I'm glad I bought it and loved the game. In fact, I bought it on PC when it was on sale too.

This game, right from the get go it is very easy. Too easy in fact as I will have to disable some aids that keep you from racing too fast.

So my advice is to wait for a sale and buy it, you won't have the issues you may have had in some of the past motorbike games I do not believe.

Ride 4 had rewind too. It just was disabled in endurance races and tine attacks.

Hey, appreciate this! I think I will give this another shot, tbh the last one I probably played was Ride 2 so it’s probably possible the physics have been refined as well. Probably will wait for a sale as I’m backlogged on games atm anyway but this sounds pretty promising to me! Rewind button will probably help a lot, I’m sure I would’ve gave up on F1 games almost immediately too if they didn’t have a rewind button, never really thought about that.

          Thanks man!

wow never even knew, i'm surprised people didn't mention that when i was looking for help, well anyways, ride 5 has it enabled by default, probably because of this thing where I had it and didn't even know it!

I loved Ride 2 & 3 but I'm struggling with 4. I guess I'll need to take the route you did and put the time in.

Same for me. I like bike racing games but the newer ones are just too hard for me. I tried and tried but gave up.
