    GT 4 Sense of Speed?

just wondering from those who have gt4 and are still playing it, if there is a sense of speed to the game. i remember in gt3, whenever the speedometer read near 130 mph, it felt like 65 mph real time. u know what i mean? but in games like need for speed underground and burnout, u really got the sense of speed. just wanted to know if that same feelings is felt in the gt4 game? cause in gt3, it didn't feel like you were going fast at all....

The sense of speed has been greatly improved. It feels like real world speeds.

When you're doing 250mph on the long stretch of the lemans course, they definitely did a really good job in making it feel extremely fast, however if you're expecting anything like what those arcade racers provide, you'll be disappointed.

The sense of speed is perfect. Definately the real feel of speed.

But please, don't throw into the table unrealistic arcadish games like NFSUand Burnout.

We are talking about simulation here, not arcade. And in simulation, truly there is NOTHING better than GT4.

Forza looks like it is going to be much more realistic.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

I think it's poor in the 3rd person view, but a lot better in the first person views.

1st Person View yes there is a sense of speed...

You can't tell with the behind the car view though.

Different systems, if the XBOX can be better than the PS2, it better be.
