It's a really good update, such a difference to see the pushing animation not look so terrible.  Ultimately I still prefer XL in terms of gameplay, but Session is a drastically better game now than it was prior to the update.  The amount of options they continue to add is also super cool, they deserve to win the battle of the skate games if I'm being honest.

Agreed that it's a good update and as far as support goes there really isn't even a  competition. SkaterXL seems to be done and only user content is being updated while session actually wants to be a completed product. The issue for me is that there is no vert skating in Session. There's a half pipe in the new map but you can't actually do anything on it that resembles vert skating. Lol. SkaterXL at least has the one map that you can vert on and is why I prefer XL by a lot. 

Really though, neither game has enough to keep me  invested. I decided that emulated Skate 3 was better in pretty much every way and play it to get my fix.

I never played Skate 3, but Skate was one of my favorite games. I really enjoy Session because of the realistic approach it has taken compared to other skating games. I seriously love the hardcore settings where I'm controlling each leg and have to catch the board. I love having to actually try and make sure I land from high drops or else I fall.

I'm assuming Skate 3 is similar to Skate where it wasn't Tony Hawk, but it wasn't as realistic as Session? I need to just download it since it is on GamePass. I'd love the gameplay of Session with some more polish with the depth that Skate had.
