I'm excited that EA is making another Skate game, but man they really go the arcade route within the simulation vibe that the first Skate game had. Don't get me wrong, there were bouts of unrealism within that game as well, but they embraced a grounded aspect that THPS couldn't ever touch and it started with the controls, camera, and city. Now it's just a playground, which is interesting and not necessarily what I'm looking for, but still could make for an excellent game.

I do hope there is an approach to this game that you can aim for which is rather realistic, including controls similar to what Session provides. It is unlikely, but I'll test whatever they'll throw at us and am excited for a possible PC release all the same.

Again, I'm just excited that more skateboarding games are coming out again.
