Hi, I was hoping someone can help me. My friend and I cannot invite each other to play. I thought this feature was cross platform and cross-generational.

He has the PS5 and I have the PS4 version. Whe he sends me the invite, I’m directed to go to the PS Store and when I send him an invite, he doesn’t receive it. Can’t understand what’s happening. Thoughts? Thanks.

I think you can only play on either current gen OR last gen. So I think it’s PS5/XBS/XBX or PS4/XB1
