    Hello mate.

I have seen this review said that the game is not ready for the release.

I've playing now 275 hours on Tiebreak.
The game since the biggining became better and better.
During EA patch 5, they fixed many issues like téléportation and they made the CPU harder.

But as usual, people who hates working hard to beat the CPU , wanted a less strong CPU.

So on EA 6 and EA 7, it's very easy to beat the CPU on Expert Difficulty. But everything is not bad. The animations are better than ever, they worked hard, they changed the serv system and I like it.

They have increased top spin shot difficulty in EA7 but flat shot is now overkilled.

They need to balanced that in the dayone patch.

I'm in love with this game : no script like TopSpin2K25, many variety of shots by using triggers.

But they need to add aggressivity on CPU behavior and it has to go to the net more often. If they fixed that, the game will be awesome.

If you are looking for a good career and great game play go with
Tennis Elbow 4 it blows both those titles out of the water.

I second this, tennis elbow 4 is not only the best tennis game but to me it is the best sports game period of 2024.

I can write an article on what the game does right for offline gameplay. There are so many playstyles by the cpu. Not only that, there are special talent ratings and behavior traits assigned to players. Maybe around 30-40 variables ( attributes, talents, playstyles) you can play with and edit to get a cpu player playing just like his real life counterpart. Even the aggressive shot has different types.

You want a big baseline hitter that can unleash big ground strokes when he has time but has trouble with hitting running shots or under pressure? You can....Jim Courier.

You want a speedy baseline defender who takes safe shots but has trouble hitting winners? You can....precision rating. Gilles Simon.

You want the same baseline defender to be able to hit winners and be more aggressive when he sees opportunities? Bulldog player type....Nadal.

You want a serve and volley player with a big serve on grass? Boris Becker. That player killed me on grass, beat me in straight sets. Took becker to clay which dampened his serve, and won and you can feel the cpu becker significantly weakened by the high bouncing clay.

This is coming from me who was very happy when tiebreak came out. But tennis elbow 4 is simply just on another level. People on OS would go crazy if this type of game and AI was made for football games.

CPU makes unforced errors at a reasonable rate in TE4?

Yes very much so. Just played Nadal vs cpu Verdasco ( aggressive baseliner). Verdasco slightly had more winners due to the forehand, but committed over 30 unforced errors to my 19.

              Win 3-0 straight sets.

Nets, long balls, balls over side lines, shanks off of racket frame, volley errors, smash errors, whiffs, etc.

Anything you see in real life, is in TE4. The developper of the game is an avid tennis fan and plays the game.

The game also counts forced errors so when Nadal controlled the play, verdasco committed maybe another 20 of those.

Played Michael Chang (defender player type), played safe so he committed only 17 unforced in 3 sets. Lost 2-1 using Courier.
