Yep, its crazy how we can remember all these things from a game thats 15-20 years old. This had me laughing to myself while I was playing. The whole time I'm saying, I remeber this or remember that now. It was great.

you have to have the cube controller and memory card for cube games

yep I use the wireless Wavebird Nintendo controller, it works great.

Can the Wii play DVD movies?

I saw something today saying Wii DVD-playback comes in late 2007. Don't know what that is though? A system update? A new version of the console?

Hopefully a update. I just overpaid for a Wii through e-bay for my wife's b-day and it would suck if they released an updated system with DVD playback.

New games today, after a great week last week, this week's suck IMO.

Gradius III (SNES, 1-2 players, 800 Wii Points)
Wonder Boy in Monster World (Genesis, 1 player, 800 Wii Points)
Battle Lode Runner (TurboGrafx 16, 1-5 players, 600 Wii Points

People will say "Well, they have to spread out the VC games throughout the life of the system"...

...I don't buy that.

People are going to purchase the VC games they want despite when they come out. Put the games on their that will sell, then they can go about having some of the oddball ones that have little notoriety.

A sale is a sale.

And you know what, the same goes for XBLA. It goes through completely bad months at a time too...usually with obscure puzzle games...etc.

Punch Out is great. Downloaded that and Tecmo Bowl today. Think I have around 15 games downloaded so far

Do these classic games incorporate the Wii "motion detecting controller" (for want of a better term)?

don't think so Jaybee. Haven't played one yet that does incorporate it.
