Two more VC games to download...I've now spend more money on the VC than I did on the system itself.

    Gah!

I might try out Kid Chameleon, it sounds cool. Which ones are you downloading?

I think this will be my 14th VC game.

I'm buying 'Actraiser' and 'Kid Chameleon' today, and I have the following, if I remember correctly:

        TG-16:
        Super Adventure Island
        Bonk's Adventure

        Genesis:
        Gunstar Heroes
        Toe Jam & Earl

        NES:
        Super Mario Bros.
        Kirby's Adventure
        Legend of Zelda

        SNES:
        Super Mario World
Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past
        Legend of the Mystical Ninja
        Donkey Kong Country
Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest
        F-Zero
        Super Castlevania IV

        N64:
        Super Mario 64
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
        Starfox 64

It seems like there's at least one per week that I end up downloading, and with the games that already have ESRB ratings, I know there are at least a dozen or so more that I'll pick up.

One question...is it possible to run out of "channels" or the Wii windows? I know that folks have probably downloaded many more VC games than I, but is there only a finite number? What do you do then?

yeah you can. I think the limit is 48, I remember seeing the limit somewhere. When you run out, you just have to get rid of it. You can always re-download any VC games for free that you purchased earlier.

If you have a memory card, you can move the games to it, then move it back.

To shift gears, I've mentioned before that my "old age" has hampered my old school gaming (can't make that jump, can't beat that level, etc.)

Well I'm proud to "boast" that I got to World 4-4 on the first NES Mario today without dying (and no warping)!

I then lost all five lives in that damn castle, with the last life coming at the hands of the imposter Bowser (did you notice that if you beat him with fireballs that he becomes a gray version of a regular enemy...a goomba, koopa, etc. Pretty neat!).

Feelin' ya. I recently tried to play Mike Tyson's Punch Out on an old NES system. I used to be able to plug in the ol' code... 007 373 5963 and take Tyson down.

Nowadays, the precision reflexes needed to dodge the lightning fast uppercut just aren't there. He clowns me in the 1st round...

Dude, I downloaded Punch Out on the Wii...and I can't beat Soda Popinski. He's too quick for me. I seriously don't have the reflexes to get out of the way of his punches anymore. I used to be able to fly through that game without even as much as a loss. Now, I'm stuck...

Is Konami supporting the VC? I ask for Contra (NES) and Sunset Riders purposes? Thanks!

                          Ditto for me too.

I blamed it on LCD lag... but even when I tried hooking up my Wii to a SD TV I had problems. There was probably a tiny lag because I was able to get by Soda Popinski (barely), but I still got knocked out by the Sandman. How depressing...

At least you guys get to Soda Pop! I've died countless times on Bald Bull! I can hit the "bull charge" two or three times, and then I lose it and he pummels me...can't time it the rest of the bout.

Funny thing about Bald Bull is that when I was a kid I had TONS of trouble with him. Now, I haven't miss-timed the Bull Charge even once.

I just realized, I'm going to run out, I just put my first game on page 3. Granted, I have spots open on the first page still, since I have all the games starting on page 2. I know, I'm anal.
