New updates are the PS One games for the PSP. Next year, you'll be able to play these on the PS3 as well.

Sony's Crash Bandicoot, Cool Boarders, Syphon Filter, and Hot Shots Golf 2, as well as Namco's Tekken 2. Each game costs $5.99.

The first and second Crash Bandicoot games were my favorite in the series as was the first Syphon Filter game. I'll pick those up as soon as they are released.

I've purchased Cash Guns Chaos, and Blast Factorsimplistic shooter and fun too me in the vein of Geometry wars. I'm waiting for games from psynosis like colony wars, ACII to play on the PSP and PS3 their is a lot. I just purchased a USB 2.0 250gb HD for all the movies and music I have and downloads will be great.

backbreaker, what's the HDD size limit for the PS3 if you add a new one? Can you use an external drive?

I would guess it would depend on how big of a HDD you have. There's no real limitation that I know of.

There is no limitation on what size HDD you want to use. Make sure the HDD you do choose is one that will not generate more heat like a 7200 or 10000 rpm drives. The last thing the PS3 needs is more heat in the system.

I know this has been brought up before as to why the a 60 gig HDD shows 47 gig down from 55 gig (formatted). I'm wondering if this is due to the PS3 OS not Linux and the rest of the software used to run the PS3?

p.s. maybe we should all post our PSN usernames.

There is no limitation on what size HDD you want to use. Make sure the HDD you do choose is one that will not generate more heat like a 7200 or 10000 rpm drives. The last thing the PS3 needs is more heat in the system.

I'm not looking to replace the HDD right now, since I was having a tough decision with the 20gb or 60gb last week. If I was going to replace it right away than I would have stuck with the 20gb. BTW, I did get that warranty from Best Buy today, even if nothing happens in the 2 yrs. I have a piece of mind + toward the end of the 2yr warranty I'll take the system in for a new one.

Firmware update 1.30 is out. The display issue has been addressed the system will no longer downscale to 480p like it did in the past. The Display settings have been changed. There is no longer a Sub Custom Settings under the display settings.

Now you are able to choose which resolution you want. I only selected 1080i and ran Motorstorm. The system downscaled the game to 720p which it should because that's it's native resolution. Prior to the update Motorstorm would downscale to 480p if I chose 1080i.

p.s. I know some of you are having download issues with PSN. I downloaded a 326meg demo in 7 minutes, that's quick and is on par with XBL if not a little quicker on PSN at least for me.

I'm interested to see what the full list of changes are. The Playstation website still has 1.11 listed. 1.1 to 1.11 is a small change, but jumping to 1.3 tells me that they made some significant changes.

Other than the downscaling issue getting a needed fix I haven't noticed anything else yet. I take that back Candy still hasn't responded to my friends request.
