Re: how do you like the PS3 controller?
Aside from the infamous lack of rumble, I found the triggers to be a little...weird. They don't feel as solid as the 360's triggers, too loose almost. Aside from that, it's the same great Sony controller that's been tried, tested and true. The 360's analog's just seem to be placed better for my hands, though and the 360 contoller (aside from the awful D-pad) is better all-around, IMO.Comment

Re: how do you like the PS3 controller?
I'm interested in getting on myself, and the demos in bestbuy made me miss the rumble. I guess it's nice to hear so many people say they are over it, since I thought it was a glaring loss. The motorstorm game looks like it could have used it.
but if you get over it quickly, then I won't mind at all. The L2 & R2 triggers, or whatever they are now, feel spongey too.Comment

Re: how do you like the PS3 controller?
While I disagreed with you a while back about missing it. Well I didn't disagree but rather felt I couldn't get used to not having it. Anyways I didn't miss it in Madden but I do somewhat miss it on the shooters. I downloaded the Resistance demo and I do miss the "extra" feeling from the explosions and firing the gun. Most of my shooters will probably be on the 360 anyways so I'm good.
It's going to take a while getting more used to how light the dang thing is lol.Joshua:

Re: how do you like the PS3 controller?
I miss rumble so much that if a multiplatform game comes out on the 360, i'll buy it because it has rumble. In fact not having rumble in a driving game, FPS or fighting game is like playing a videogame without audio. That's how much importance I put on rumble it adds to the senses IMO.Comment

Re: how do you like the PS3 controller?
like I said, motorstorm could have really used it with all the collisions and off road stuff. I'll try to see if I can get by without it, but I've loved rumble since the n64 days with goldeneye.I miss rumble so much that if a multiplatform game comes out on the 360, i'll buy it because it has rumble. It's like pk500 said it's back to the future again circa 1997. If it weren't for the lawsuit we'd have rumble, no doubt.Comment

I played Motorstorm and I missed the rumble. At least the controller wasn't heavy.Comment

Re: how do you like the PS3 controller?
I am not missing rumble, but I do wish the controller itself had a bit more weight to it. It just feels a little awkward.Comment

Re: how do you like the PS3 controller?
I definately miss the rumble. Especially since that means no force feedback with wheels. I just got the 360 wheel and it is awesome.
I was going to buy the Driving Force Pro for ps2/ps3 but with no FF on PS3 what is the point.XBL: Countach
