360 Updates

Is there any possibility that with all the 360's dying these days that it has anything to do with any of the updates via XBL? I've had mine since 2/06 and never bothered with XBL but was actually contemplating it recently when that thought crossed my mind.

There is no real reason, just tons of speculation and this is one of them.

That's what I was afarid of....no real reason that anyone has pinpointed yet. I wanna hook up to XBL but now I'm not so sure. Sure wish it was a little closer to tax return time just in case,lol.

I just may do that after the kiddies go to bed tonight,gets a little boring playing the cpu!

I think there's about a 90% chance the failures have nothing to do with the updates. People like to make stuff up and try and make connections that simply aren't there.

I for one think that the update rendered my 360 useless... I think it's funny that I update and then the day after I update my 360 gives me the red ring of death...

You think. Or maybe they are just bad at playing games. And the 360 couldn't take it anymore.

You could be right or it just was perfect timing. I still can't believe they haven't found the problem yet. That coffin thing is a joke. They need to find the problem and fix it just once, not 5 times.
