    PS3 HDMI problem

I have purchased a HDMI cable and I am unable to get any picture. I made sure everything was plugged in. I am at a loss for words. Does it only work on TV's that offer 1080p? Do I need the component cables plugged in also? Can anyone offer any assistance please?

How did you have the PS3 hooked up before to the TV?

I switched TV's from my Projection HDTV using component cables to my Plasma using the HDMI cable.

Ok, when the PS3 is on standby, hold down the power button until you hear 2 beeps. This will reset the cable selection on the PS3.
