    PS3 - Slowdown

I recently bought a PS3 and have been playing FNR3 alot. There is some noticeable slowdown...do you think it's because the hardware is already maxed out or because developers are not yet utilizing the PS3 efficiently because it is such a new console. Just wondering becuase I only have one game and haven't played anything else to see if there is slowdown. Wouldn't you think there shouldn't be slowdown on such a powerful next gen console no matter what resolution it is running in?

There is no way at all that it has been maxed out after 2 months. IT just has framerate issues like the 360 because its still so new.

I hoped not...thanks for the info. I was starting to regret my purchase, probably prematurely...but hey $599+ can do that.

Its still such a young console, there are certainly much better days and games ahead for it.
