A while back i read that there will be no ps4 and they will be software only company . I know it old news but what ever came out of that from sonys mouth.

um... link? I think you read that wrong... I think what you misconstrued is that the PS4 (and likely Xbox 1024x768) will rather than use discs, they'll be completely downloadable content. That is you wont walk into a store to pick up that latest game, instead you'll just fire up your console and download it. Hopefully by then internet providers have been completely reworked...

I don't believe it was Sony that said it but rather "experts" that said it. They believe Sony has lost and will continue to lose lots of $ and they need to get rid of the hardware portion and strictly go software.
