second 360 just got the RROD....

it first started with multiple freezings on games like Assassins creed and GRAW..and i thought it was just ubisoft games...turned it on this morning, played GRAW...froze...restarted...RROD...RIP

now onto my 3rd one fellas..

I bought my elite back in July. Yesterday I turn it on while connected to the net and it froze up on me. I turn it off then back on and get the red rings. I do this for about and hour and keep getting the red rings. I decide to turn it off for good and go look for the box it came in. Two hours later in desperation I turn it back on and it works. Now this morning I turn it on and get the red rings wtf?

This is crazy, even the Elites?

Well I got my 360 back on Monday, So that was not as bad as I thought speed wise. The date on the back of my xbox says 12-14-07 so I think I may of got a brand new one so I will not complain.

So yeah my 360 won't come on, at least on the screen. I was playing a movie and it got a little grainy, so I cut it off and now when I cut it on, the lights come on and it's running, but no picture.


Any idea why?

Something like this happened to me. I had NBA 2K8 in and the colors got this green tinge. Then I couldn't get any video even though I didn't get any red lights. Then it was on and off getting a picture for a day and then I got no video period.

It's probably the video card that went, just like mine. Time to call for that coffin.

my first unit went out about 1 month ago. I got my new one on Monday. the date on it was 12-12-07. I just got the 3 rings of death on this one. I give up, I will trade in all my 360 stuff after this.

unless you get the RROD you cant get a coffin.

UNLESS. you purchase a new MS warranty thru ms over the phone for $99...at that point, you'll get another refurbished console that has no guanrtees to last past a year... cut your losses.

grab a ps3.

How much do they give you at gamestop for 360's?

Maybe I would be better of grabing a Refurbished one from gamestop for $199 and keeping my Hardrive from my old 360?

i have no idea.

you might save money if grab the waranty for $99. and take a risk on a refurb from MS.

but then again no guarntees its going to last and your back in the same circle of broken 360's

Just received my 4th refurb. Finally got a newer system, with a 12-18-07 manufacture date. I'm hoping this one is quieter and whatnot.
