Anyone find this image disturbing?

I get regular e-mails from Nintendo.com, including the Wii Monthly Newsletter. In the one I recieved today, I found this image...



Sonic the Hedgehog appearing on the cover of Nintendo Power. Anyone else disturbed by this? This is just about as strange as the night I saw Vince McMahon appearing on WCW Monday Nitro, or Eric Bischoff on Raw, or Roger Clemens on the Yankees, or Rick Pitino coaching....well...you get the drift.

For someone who grew up in the thick of the Sega-Nintendo war, this would have been unheard of!

I hate the thought of Sonic and Nintendo together. Nintendo has Mario, Sega has Sonic, and that is how it should always be!

me either, i used to get that waaayyyy back in the day...my old NES controllers still have stickers on them that i got in one of those

yea, i still play every now and then...dusty diamond all star softball is my game! and rampage....i dont have but about 10 games though

Yeah really. I had a subscription for like 3-4 years, I think. That and Electronic Gaming Monthly. I used to take them chumpies to school and my friends and I would start gossipin' video games

Ok, the first thing that came to my mind was "hmm, what's the disturbing part?" And then I read the title: "Sonic Secrets" and searched the picture to realize there is another masculine being behind him.

Then the second thing I though was Sonic was smoking a big fat blunt. Then I realized it was just the way his body was leaning. But man, it looks like it.

I believe he is talking about SONIC (a former SEGA exclusive) being on NINTENDO Power Magazine...I agree its weird to see Sonic being played on anything but a Sega console.

Edit: After actually reading the original post, I KNOW that is what he is talking about...there is no guessing to it.
