    Need Resolution Help

I just purchased a new monitor to play my xbox 360 on. The native resolution is 1400 x 1050. When I look for matching resolution the numbers don't match up exactly. May be a dumb question but what do I set it to to get the best out of my monitor. Thanks in advance

Forgot to mention that it is not widescreen, right now it is set to 720 I believe, looks good, but it cropped or in letterbox form.

It will be letterboxed since the monitor is not widescreen.
