Soooo, here's the deal that I'm getting.

The file has to be made by an untagged system (which means FK and DK have to buy new 360's..LOL), and then, once you download it, make a change somewhere to it, and rename it as your own. It should then be fine as long as you don't upload it yourself.

I think I'm going PS3 for NCAA and Madden this year.

Pain in the ***, I know, but is there any way to roll back to the old dashboard? Will doing that "run original setup" or whatever it's called do the trick? If so, we could do that everytime we're downloading a save file from one of these guys, load the file, save it under a different name, then re-update the dashboard.

Pain in the *** though...damnit...I'm actually starting to think PS3 now. Half of my gaming deals with playing NCAA football and basketball with the real rosters. I'm not joking. Literally half.

Yeah I am already getting the football games on both systems so I should be alright and I can name the ones I want to name on the 360 if we cannot figure out a workaround

ok guys, here is what i did.. loaded up the 360 with ncaa 2007. used my memory card as the main save point.. i autonamed the default rosters and then saved to my memory card.. someone download these asap and see if you can get them to work on your 360 and report back .. thanks!!

Trying to get it to work right now, it would not detect it from the mem card so I am now trying to copy it to the HD and then load it up


EDIT: Ok it worked once I moved it from the mem card to the hard drive. Your auto named rosters showed up

for the record, i deleted it from my memory card and then downloaded it myself and it worked.. but with me creating it on my 360 i bet it knows that or something lol..

What we need now is for FK or Dkrause to do one, upload it here and try those out to see if indeed their systems were tagged.

This is the kind of stuff that really turns me off to the 360. I don't think they view this as a video game machine. They may have just alienated a bunch of hard core gamers who play any NCAA game or any sport game for that matter. IDK, I guess my PS3 will be seeing alot more action come the fall.

I don't understand why this makes you feel MS doesn't view the 360 as a video game machine? LOL at the irony of going to the PS3 b/c you feel that MS doesn't take the 360 seriously as a video game machine (I'm just giving you hard time here)

Don't get me wrong either. I think it sucks that this is the only route they feel they could take to deal with the issue of people using the tansfer device to cheat their gamerscores and what not. This shouldn't come as a complete shock. They (MS) have been extremely outspoken that they are against these types of actions. They have to do something to stop this if they are going to continue to have contests for prizes that directly correlates with your gamerscore. I just hate that there is a (likely small) group of people that ruins it for all of us.

Hopefully we have found ways to get around this. We are going to have to hide Fiddy like the pregnant woman in Children of Men.

What I'm not getting is EG said yesterday that Fiddy's dynasty file is working fine for him, but now kodiak said that the file he has was corrupted. Did you make changes to the dynasty save after you got it EG?
