PSP Faceplates

Yeah, I know the PSP is like death here at OS, but I thought I'd share my faceplate I just purchased:



If anyone knows where I can get replacement buttons for the ones I'm still missing, I'd appreciate it. In white, with the actual triangle, square, circle etc symbols....

I don't know your budget, but for $21, you can get another faceplate with a set of white buttons & d-pad:

Pared, did you take apart the PSP to get that new face plate on? What was the installation process and is the back of your system still black or is it that crystal white now?

Thanks but those won't work; They're designed to fit with replacement faceplates, not OEM faceplates. This is the OEM faceplate from the White PSP they sell in Japan. Just can't find OEM buttons.

Yeah, I've done a couple of mods here and there to the hardware so I'm familiar with taking it apart. I'd be able to walk you through the process.

It's extremely difficult to find all the pieces needed to swap out the back, but it is possible. On top of that, you'd have to take apart the UMD drive... I doubt you'd want to do that.

I'd rather just keep mine black. No white plate for me.

I hear ya, but thank god I don't have to deal with fingerprint smudges anymore like you do with the black. I won't miss that at all.

I take it that the back of your PSP is also white? How long did it take you to do this and is it easy to do or difficult?

Actually, I'd guess the back of your PSP is still black...I have a blue faceplate that I bought off of ebay, with clear buttons.
