Except for play PS2 & PSone games.

I believe the 40 gb will play ps1 games. They took out the emotion engine so the ps2 compatibility is zero.

Am I missing something? Ive downloaded some themes from allps3themes.com and saved them to my thumb drive yet when I plug it in it says there arent any themes, what else should I be doing exactly? Ive tried just saving it to the thumb drive and Ive tried saving it within the PS3 folder on the thumb drive and Ive gotten the same outcome.

on your thumb drive, make a "THEME" folder PS3---->THEME

and save the themes in that folder.

ALL root folders must be named using capital letters

Thanks but I did that as well and nothing, the only thing I can think of is it has the icon for MS Paint to open each theme with and since its not compatible it isnt working, and if that doesnt work then I give up on using the thumb drive method.

does this site allow you to direct download from your ps3? if so go to your pse browser and click on it to download, cut the middle man out.

It does and I already did that once without a problem, I guess Im hard headed and when I have my mind set on doing something a certain way and Im unsuccessful then I want to find out why so I can do it the way I had intended on doing it in the first place.

EDIT- Well it finally worked once I deleted everything and re-downloaded everything over again and moved it straight from my desktop to my thumb drive, before I was putting them into a folder on the desktop and then moving the individual files to my thumb drive, even though Im not sure how this makes a difference. Hopefully it keepe working, I would rather watch tv while I download these instead of having to do it on the PS3.

I forgot to mention that I had the file named "Themes" and changed it to "Theme" so Im not sure if adding the "S" makes the difference but I suppose it might have.

This must be over my head because Im completely lost on this and apparently there arent any walkthrough's to use or instructions either unless Im completely overlooking it. If you have the time to explain how to use this program that would be awesome, if not I understand, everyone is pinched for time these days, thanks in advance.

If you're browsing the site from your PS3, simply hit the "Download Here" link on the theme you want to download. That save it to your Photos section on the PS3. Then, go turn on themes in the settings menu, then select your new theme.

I really like being able to download all of these themes people are making and the best part is that they are free.

Yeah that would make a difference.

It's an easy system to use once you get used to it. It took me a while to get the file sharing system down but I love it now.

Awesome, so it'll kinda be like a dashboard...Hopefully they'll come out with a web portal sometime too, I like to see who's online from my PC sometimes (look for a friend i'm planning to play, whatever)...
