I heard that you can get the same plan directly from MS ... any truth to that?

I also agree with the other posters ... a plan that cheap has to me a mail-in repair/replace with refurbished plan.

Gamestop's warranty is 1 year, just like XBox's which is free.

So basically the gamestop one is worthless.

Johnny, GameStop's warranty is for 1 year, and you just take the Xbox in when it breaks, and get a brand new one. No sending it off, and waiting for it to get back to you.

That just changed the other day . Its now that you will be given a refurbished . And the price went up $10.
