I'm about to get a 360 and am clearing some room in the entertainment center and just wondered if most people stand theirs upright or lay it flat down. Does it matter?

I keep mine flat. Less chance of getting knocked over. Make sure you have plenty of ventilation if you are putting it in a entertainment stand.PSN ID: Lordcledus

Vertical here but don't know if it matters as I've never tried it horizontally. Another suggestion is to take the game out once you're done with your session. I would get this loud grinding sound while playing. Sometimes it would end in a dirty disc error. But, I haven't heard it since I started putting the game in when I'm about to play and taking it out when I'm done. Again, I don't know if that matters either but it gives me piece of mind.

horizontal for me. I had it vertical but started having problems with the cd tray not opening. After doing some reading apparently it is a common problem and putting the 360 horizontal corrected the problem.Comment
