    PS3 Questions

My lamp went out on my SXRD last week and I'm waiting on it to be replaced. I just tried to move my PS3 to my bedroom that has a SD television. I hooked up the PS3 using component cables made my Mad Catz that I always used for my PS2. I can't get a picture or any sound.

    1. Should this setup be working?

    2. Is it the cables?

    3. What can I do to get it to work.

I'm going crazy without be able to play the Show for over a week.

    Re: PS3 Questions

I just tried to hook it up using the PS3 composite cables and that didn't help either. My guess it that it's because I have it set to HDMI in the dashboard. There is no way for me to change this because my SD TV doesn't accept HDMI. Is there a way to restore the PS3 where it will allow my to play in 480i?

When you power on, keep the power button down until you hear the second beep. That "resets" and should detect your cable setup.

thanks man. I just found that on Sony's site as well. It worked. SD stinks but I have to play some baseball.

        Thanks again.
