XBL Gold help

hey guys. i bought my xbox 360 in November of 2006 and have yet to activate my free XBL gold 30 day "trial".

Since then I have bought a 3 month card from ebay and a 12 month card.

Can I activate my 30 day trial and then instantly activate my 3 month and 12 month cards to give me 16 total months?

how does the reactivation process go on the XBOX360 dashboard? I just want to maximize my active time with xbl.

btw, my free trial still should be in tact, right? ive only once migrated my brothers silver account over to my account. that lasted a day.

anyone with experience on thissort of thing. am i making too big of a deal out of this?

Did you sign up for a silver account? If you did your 30 day gold is probably long gone. If you did not sign up for the silver, then I'd start the free 30 day gold, then when there's a couple of days left on that, activate your 3 month and 12 month card.
